The Wonder of Growth: How Coaching Shaped My Path as a Founder
At the start of this year, I made a quiet promise to myself: to grow. Not just in business, but in how I lead, show up, and navigate the messy middle that comes with being a Founder.
Running Valiant Strategies has always been purpose-driven for me. What I didn’t expect was how deeply personal this journey would become. How much I’d need to unlearn, relearn, and reflect. How essential the right kind of support would be.
Enter Amanda Prochaska.
The Chief Wonder Officer at Wonder Services who leaves you in "wonder"—being deeply moved or inspired by something greater than yourself. What a perfect title for her.
Since January, Amanda has been more than a Coach, she’s been a grounding force and a trusted guide. She held space for the hard questions, the quiet doubts, and the bold visions I was sometimes afraid to name. She helped me reconnect to my emotionally connected why—the deeper reason behind the work I do and the business I’ve built.
Amanda also leads with PIE: Performance, Image, and Exposure. Through her mentorship, I’ve learned how to elevate all three in a way that aligns with who I am and not just what I deliver. It’s helped me lead more intentionally, show up more powerfully, and build stronger alignment between my values and the way I serve.
Her coaching didn’t just make me a better Founder and Consultant.
It changed how I show up.
It sharpened my voice.
It helped me realign my business, my energy, and my values with what being valiant truly means: courage, clarity, and conviction in the face of uncertainty.
It’s also helped me live more authentically. Who I am personally and professionally no longer have to compete, but can coexist, peacefully and powerfully. I no longer feel the pressure to compartmentalize parts of myself in order to be seen as credible, strategic, or strong.
Amanda’s guidance has shown me that vulnerability and professionalism are not opposites—they’re companions. That I can bring my whole self to the table with values, voice, heart and all, and still lead with strength, command respect, and deliver impact. That alignment has been life-changing.
I don’t just run Valiant Strategies. I live it.
This journey has reminded me that transformation doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when someone believes in your vision and walks beside you as you grow into it.
Thank you, Amanda. For seeing me. For challenging me. And for helping me rise with faith and conviction.
